Our People-Centric Approach: The people are the answer to the question of how to ensure high-quality work.
We believe that people are the key to the solution to all problems. As far as translation quality is concerned, even the best processes and systems are designed, implemented and supervised by people. To this end, we have staffed positions such as account service, project management, translation, proofreading, and DTP with the most competent people we can find. For the management team, we have strengthened the training, supervision and evaluation of account service and project management to ensure that they perform their duties effectively. Every translator on the team has been strictly screened, tested, and trained to ensure that their abilities and expertise match the tasks. In our rigorous translation tests, only about one out of ten people who take the test can meet our strict requirements. We will then train the successful candidates in the use of software applications and subject knowledge if applicable, and train, test, and evaluate them in actual translation projects. We have established a complete mechanism for recruiting, training, and supervising talents, and have built a translation team of highly talented professionals that serve each and every language needs of our clients.
Processes and Systems: Organization is the way of expanding the outcomes of talented individuals.
We have set up an effective project management process for translator selection, translation proofreading, review, editing, and DTP for translation projects. The whole process from contract signing, order placement, translation, proofreading, editing, reviewing, completion, and delivery is under strict control and supervision. This ensures that all the projects are handled by people with rich translation experience and subject knowledge, so as to ensure that translation standards, terms, consistency requirements, customer requirements, and industry specifications are followed and implemented.
Software and Technology: IT tools are critical for ensuring quality.
“A workman must first sharpen his tools if he is to do his work well,” as an old Chinese saying goes. People are of course the key to the entire translation process, but software and technology, as powerful tools for people, play an extremely important role in the entire translation process, especially for long-term, high-volume translation tasks. To this end, we use advanced software tools in the implementation of translation projects, including CAT software applications such as memoQ and Trados, Transtools, ABBYY Fine Reader, and Solid Converter PDF. We establish and maintain translation memory (TM) and termbase (TB) assets for our clients, so as to ensure translation and term consistency for long-term translation projects, and ensure long-term stable quality for our translations.
